Born and raised in Wisconsin, Shelley received her formal education of 1000 hours at North Country Community College, where she earned her Associates in Applied Science degree for Massage  Therapy with honors in 2003. Her massage training included study in Swedish massage, NeuroMuscular Therapy (NMT), Thai massage, reflexology, sports massage and hot stone therapy. She is also certified in Medical Massage for the Neck and Upper Extremities and Reiki, level II. Shelley integrates these techniques using her caring focus, giving spirit and love of her work to create wonderfully relaxing and effective sessions for people of all ages. Shelley has extensive experience with athletes from many disciplines and has worked with World Cup winners, National Team members and Olympians from many countries.

Shelley is licensed by the State of New York and is Nationally Certified as a Massage Therapist. She is also a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Timothy Chien, LMT, NCTMB

A longtime resident of Lake Placid, Tim also received his formal education of 1000 hours at North Country Community College, and he too earned his Associates in Applied Science degree for Massage Therapy with honors in 2003. He is certified in NeuroKinetic Therapy, Medical Massage for the neck and upper extremities, Massage for people with special needs and Reiki, level II. Tim brings his experience and body knowledge from 20 years of bike racing to the table. He works with several professional cycling teams (Advil/Chapstick women, Colavita/Sutter Home men and women) as their Massage Therapist/Soigneur/Mechanic at races like the '07 Tour of Georgia, as well as Ironman Triathaletes and world class athletes from all over the world. He incorporates Swedish, NKT, active release, creative vision and common sense into his sports and orthopedic massage. He also loves doing Thai and a flowing, integrated massage.
